iFit Bolsters Freemotion Team With Executive Appointments
Freemotion, iFit’s commercial division, has named two industry experts to leadership roles as it eyes international expansion
iFit has announced strategic appointments to the leadership team of Freemotion Fitness, its commercial equipment branch, as it looks toward international growth.
Chuck Fedorka, an industry veteran with over 30 years in sales and operations management, has been named the new vice president of operations of Freemotion. In his role, Fedorka will concentrate on product building and customer experience.
Along with Fedorka, Tom Sweigart, who joined iFit in 2020, has been promoted to director of member care for Freemotion. Sweigart has vast experience in service and operation, having owned a consulting firm for over 25 years that serviced Fortune 500 companies. In his role, Sweigart will focus on engaging with stakeholders, driving results and providing top-tier products and service experiences for Freemotion partners.
Freemotion says the appointments support its commitment to providing best-in-class product and service solutions as the company expands its global reach.
“I could not be more excited to build iFit’s commercial division alongside Chuck and Tom,” said Mark Watterson, CEO of iFit Commercial. “With our focus on greater market penetration and global growth, their collective commitment to our company’s vision aligns perfectly with our own.”
Watterson added that both Fedorka and Sweigart have a proven track record in building high-functioning service and operations teams.
“Alongside our world-class commercial products, I’m confident our service, operations and support will differentiate us in the industry with these two new leadership appointments leading the charge,” Watterson said.
In 2000, iFit (then named Icon Health & Fitness) acquired and formed Freemotion as its commercial division to drive evolution in the fitness sector, expanding Freemotion to become a leader in the connected fitness space with tech-driven and immersive workouts.
