Stride Fitness Celebrates June With Special Events, Free Class Promo

With summer around the corner, Stride is offering complimentary classes for some fitness consumers

Stride Fitness has big plans this June, with the Xponential Fitness-owned boutique brand sprinkling in fun events and offers throughout the season to kick-start summer.

Stride started the month by celebrating Global Running Day and plans to commemorate Men’s Health Month and Father’s Day with a complimentary first class for all fathers.

The boutique fitness franchise is also offering Summer Glow Stride classes on June 21.

Stride’s total body, treadmill-based HIIT workout, founded in 2017, uses data tracking technology such as heart rate monitors, in-studio leaderboards and Woodway treadmills.

Stride offers three 55-minute class options:

  • The Stride – an all-tread format with alternating intervals of running/walking and recovery, suitable for fitness enthusiasts of all levels.
  • The Combo – a treadmill and strength training class combining interval running or walking with total body strength work to improve speed, acceleration and endurance.
  • The Core – a class where participants can focus on balance, endurance and posture that is mostly on the treadmill. The Core has a core-strengthening section at the end of the class.

New clients to Stride can redeem their first class here.

Boutique fitness franchisor Xponential acquired the running concept in 2019. Athletech News spoke with Stride Fitness president Jeff Stokes late last year about the deal with Xponential.

“A lot of people don’t know when Xponential bought Stride, there wasn’t a cluster of locations – there was just one out here in Southern California,” Stokes noted during the conversation.

According to Stride’s website, the treadmill-based fitness program has 25 locations currently up and running with 13 more locations slated to open in states across the country.
