Life Time’s expansion into various cities and towns across the United States continues with the health club’s newest locale in Midtown Manhattan
Life Time has finally opened its seventh club location in New York City right in the highly coveted area of Midtown Manhattan.
The sought-after health club chain’s newest facility now known as “Life Time Midtown,” takes up 28,000 square feet on 110 West 56th Street in the Big Apple.
Close to numerous subway lines, the luxury boutique studio is the place for New Yorkers to choose from more than 100 signature Life Time group exercise classes, receive personal training, take advantage of the three-lane indoor lap pool and whirlpool amenities, and recharge in the building’s saunas and steam rooms. Two floors of the best in cardio, strength, and functional training equipment also await Life Time Midtown visitors.
Life Time President and COO Jeff Zwiefel says, “The central location of Life Time Midtown is ideal and allows us to serve and support even more members on their healthy way of life journey. We have an incredible team of certified health and wellness experts who will fast become a part of members’ daily lives for motivation, inspiration, guidance [and] success, all while creating a fantastic community.”
Life Time Midtown is the healthy lifestyle brand’s sixth Manhattan outpost; the first five to welcome guests include Life Time Sky, Life Time NoHo, Life Time Studio Battery Park, Life Time One Wall Street, and Life Time 23rd Street. Life Time Dumbo remains in Brooklyn.
The flourishing chain is also gearing up to launch more luxury athletic country clubs and resorts in 2023 and 2024. Cities expected to find a brand-new Life Time compound in their area this year are Scottsdale (Arizona), Irvine (California), Walnut Creek (California), Arlington (Virginia), Miami (Florida), Portland (Oregon), Stamford (Connecticut), Missouri City (Texas) and Shenandoah (Texas).
As for 2024, Red Bank, New Jersey will be the home for its very own Life Time and three additional new clubs in the Tri-State area (The Brooklyn Tower, Brooklyn Crossing, Park Avenue South) will be constructed and ready for fitness and wellness supporters.
