Mayweather Boxing + Fitness Announces Several New Hires to Support Franchise Growth
Mayweather Boxing + Fitness – an industry-leading group fitness and boxing experience created by World Champion boxer, Floyd Mayweather – announced today the hire of multiple new team members to lead its franchise development program. Nick Abrahams will join the team as Director of Franchise Sales, Christine DiBugnara as Director of Programming, and Gabby as Sr. Director of Real Estate.
“Our franchise program has been met with incredible growth in under two years of operation, and we are excited to build our team internally to match the rapid expansion our brand has achieved,” said James Williams, CEO of Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. “Each new hire offers a uniquely qualified background, and I look forward to seeing them grow with the brand.”
The Mayweather brand has continued to hire new team members to lead their franchise development programs amidst nationwide gym shutdowns and company furloughs. Despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic, Mayweather has achieved sustained growth and will continue to recruit executives during this time to further support its burgeoning franchise system.
As Director of Franchise Sales, Nick Abrahams will manage the franchisee pathway and unit growth. Prior to joining Mayweather, Abrahams served as President of Sales with F45 Training where he grew the brand on an international level. As a former franchise owner himself, Abrahams understands the decision making-process and operational requirements of becoming a motivated and successful franchisee.
“Fitness is my passion, and Mayweather Boxing + Fitness offers a great opportunity to grow my love for fitness and apply my background and knowledge to a brand that I am truly excited about,” said Abrahams. “I look forward to supporting franchisees to help them achieve their goals and grow the Mayweather brand.”
Previously Group Fitness Manager with 24 Hour Fitness and Director of Group Fitness and Programming for UFC Gym, Christine DiBugnara joins Mayweather as Director of Programming. She will apply her extensive experience in the fitness industry to develop class content and instructor educational platforms, focusing on enhancing the class experience, driving system compliance, developing educational content, assisting with franchisee training programs, and providing ongoing operational support to franchisees.
Gabby Levine will apply her background in franchise real estate to the Sr. Director of Real Estate position. Previously, she owned and operated her own trio of independent hot yoga studios and most recently served as VP of Real Estate for the Xponential Fitness portfolio of brands, the largest purveyor of boutique fitness studios in the world. Levine has held her license in Real Estate brokerage for over 11 years and will support Mayweather’s franchisees through the Real Estate Site Selection process, from onboarding through signed lease.
“The fitness world is a crowded space, and Mayweather cuts through the clutter with their superior fitness concept and franchise development program,” said Levine. “I am eager to become a part of this team and build upon the great momentum they have already achieved – particularly at this time, where the real estate market will present unique opportunities for our new franchisees.”
